Rug Making Workshop with Ladies Homestead Gathering

Turn old t-shirts into a beautiful rugs, perfect for the kitchen or bathroom.

In this fun workshop, you'll learn how to transform recycled fabric into a unique braided rug using the 4-strand braid method—no prior experience needed. Sarah from Waste Knot Orlando will guide you step-by-step, and t-shirt yarn will be provided. Please bring your own scissors.

Also, feel free to bring along any old t-shirts if you have favorite colors you'd like to include in your creation.

The Ladies Homestead Gathering meets the 4th Thursday each month from 7:00-8:30 pm at Windsor in Celebration (1370 Celebration Blvd). The meetings are open to the public.
